Taspinar. Turkish Tas = stone, gemstone, pinar = spring. Central Anatolia on the route between Konya and Kayseri. Here, carpets were made in almost every house as the main source of income. A special quality feature was the excellent wool material, with which beautiful and slim medallion patterns were realized in very precise, above-average fine knotting work.
