This Armanibaff is over 80 years old and is therefore a wonderful addition to our antique collection.

Azerbaijan is the ancient Atropane, a region in northwestern Iran divided into the two provinces of West Azerbaijan with the capital Resaieh and East Azerbaijan with the capital Tabriz and the Russian part of Azerbaijan with the capital Baku. The Iranian part is a highland with wide depressions and basins around Tabriz. Azerbaijan is one of the main centers of Persian carpet weaving. In this area you can find carpets with motifs from central Persia, but also some Caucasian and Kurdish motifs and patterns.
