Nahavand is the southernmost city in the province of Hamadan and is part of the wider Hamadan carpet weaving area. Firm, fleshy goods similar to the Malayer. The Nahavand, however, has a small, ragged pattern throughout. The Nahavand are among the better peasant carpets.
