This Yomouth is over 80 years old and is therefore a wonderful addition to our antique collection.

Youmouth Engsi. Turmenian tribe. The Youmouth Engsi also have the characteristic Hatchlou division, but the mihrab in the middle field is usually missing. The four fields of the central field often do not have Insikush motifs, as is the case with many Engsies of the Turkmen, but various other ornaments. A characteristic feature, as here, is the use of only one ornament for all four fields, a very archaic method of ornamentation.
